Chlortin 200

Each gram contains:

• Chlortetracycline Hydrochloride – 200 mg

Chlortin 200 is indicated for the treatment of various poultry infections, including:

• Coryza

• Sinusitis

• Airsacculitis

• Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD)

• Mycoplasmosis

• Omphalitis

• Synovitis

• Fowl Cholera

• Enteritis

• Infectious Bronchitis

• Newcastle Disease

It also acts as an adjuvant therapy during stressful conditions and supports improved growth and feed conversion ratio (FCR) in poultry.

Chlortin 200 works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria through the action of Chlortetracycline, which prevents bacterial protein synthesis.

At lower concentrations, it acts as bacteriostatic, stopping bacteria from multiplying.

At higher concentrations, it becomes bactericidal, killing the bacteria directly. In addition to its bacterial effects,

it also has some antiviral properties, making it effective for a broader range of poultry diseases.

For Poultry

In drinking water:

• 20-50 mg per kg body weight, orally once

In feed:

• 300-400 gm per tonne of feed

For day-old chicks:

• 1 gm per 4 liters of drinking water for 3 days

Preventive use:

• 1 gm per 4 liters of drinking water for 5-7 days

Curative use:

• 1 gm per 2 liters of drinking water for 5 days

For severe disease conditions:

• 1 gm per 1 liter of drinking water for 5-7 days
