Doximac-C

Doximac-C WSP is a water-soluble powder that combines four active ingredients to offer a broad spectrum of action against gastrointestinal and respiratory infections in poultry. The combination of Colistin Sulphate, Tylosin Tartrate, Doxycycline Hyclate, and Bromhexine provides a powerful treatment for infections caused by both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including E. coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, and Mycoplasma species. It is especially effective in managing diseases like Infectious Coryza, CRD, and Fowl Cholera.

Each gm contains:

  • Colistin Sulphate: 25,00,000 IU

  • Tylosin (as Tartrate): 100 mg

  • Doxycycline (as Hyclate): 100 mg

  • Bromhexine (as Hydrochloride): 5 mg

Doximac-C WSP is indicated for the prevention and treatment of:

  • Infectious gastrointestinal diseases:

    • Bacterial Enteritis

    • Fowl Cholera

  • Respiratory diseases:

    • Infectious Coryza

    • Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD)

    • CCRD

    • Pneumonia

  • Infections caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including:

    • Haemophilus

    • Mycoplasma

    • E. coli

    • Salmonella

    • Staphylococcus

    • Streptococcus

    • Pasteurella

    • Campylobacter

    • Bordetella

  • Colistin Sulphate: A polymyxin antibiotic that targets and destroys the outer membrane of Gram-negative bacteria, including E. coli and Salmonella.

  • Tylosin Tartrate: A macrolide antibiotic that inhibits protein synthesis in bacteria, effective against Gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus and Streptococcus.

  • Doxycycline Hyclate: A tetracycline antibiotic that interferes with bacterial protein synthesis, effective against a broad range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including Mycoplasma and Pasteurella.

  • Bromhexine Hydrochloride: A mucolytic agent that helps thin mucus, making it easier for the animal to expel respiratory secretions, aiding in the treatment of respiratory infections.

The combination of these active ingredients provides a synergistic effect against a variety of bacterial pathogens, helping to control both gastrointestinal and respiratory infections.

Poultry:

  • 1 gm per 2 Liters of drinking water for 3-5 days.

  • Medicated water should be used within 24 hours.

  • Broad-spectrum activity: Targets both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, ensuring effective treatment for a wide range of infections.

  • Synergistic effect: The combination of Colistin, Tylosin, Doxycycline, and Bromhexine enhances overall effectiveness against a variety of pathogens.

  • Dual-action: Addresses both gastrointestinal and respiratory infections, making it versatile for multiple disease scenarios.

  • Effective against resistant strains: Colistin works against antibiotic-resistant bacteria like E. coli and Salmonella.

  • Mucolytic properties: Bromhexine helps clear mucus from the respiratory tract, aiding recovery from respiratory infections.

  • Quick action: Water-soluble formulation allows for rapid absorption and response.
