Doximac Forte
Doximac Forte is a water-soluble powder formulated to combat gastrointestinal and respiratory infections in poultry caused by a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It contains a combination of Doxycycline and Tylosin, both effective antibiotics that work synergistically to treat conditions like CRD, Fowl Cholera, and Pneumonia-Enteritis. This dual-action formulation offers an effective solution for mixed infections in poultry.
Each gm contains:
Doxycycline (as Hyclate): 200 mg
Tylosin (as Tartrate): 200 mg
Doximac Forte is indicated for:
Gastrointestinal infections such as Bacterial Enteritis, Fowl Cholera
Respiratory infections including Infectious Coryza, CRD, CCRD, Pneumonia
Infections caused by both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, such as:
Haemophilus
Mycoplasma
E. coli
Salmonella
Staphylococcus
Streptococcus
Pasteurella
Campylobacter
Bordetella
Doxycycline (as Hyclate): A tetracycline antibiotic that inhibits protein synthesis in bacteria, effective against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It also targets Mycoplasma and Pasteurella species.
Tylosin (as Tartrate): A macrolide antibiotic that blocks protein synthesis in Gram-positive bacteria, particularly effective against Staphylococcus and Streptococcus species.
Together, these antibiotics provide a synergistic effect, enhancing the treatment of mixed bacterial infections, including those that affect both the gastrointestinal and respiratory systems.
Poultry:
1 gm per 2 Liters of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Medicated water should be used within 24 hours.
