Erytac

Erytac is a water-soluble powder formulated to provide a broad-spectrum treatment for both respiratory and gastrointestinal bacterial infections in poultry. It combines three active ingredients: Erythromycin, Furaltadone, and Tylosin. This powerful combination addresses multiple infection types, including Infectious Coryza, CRD, Salmonellosis, and Fowl Cholera, while also helping to reduce the mortality rate in complex infections.

Each gm contains:

  • Erythromycin as Thiocyanate: 60 mg

  • Furaltadone as Hydrochloride: 150 mg

  • Tylosin as Tartrate: 50 mg

Erytac is indicated for:

  • Respiratory tract infections: CRD, CCRD, Infectious Coryza, Synovitis, Pneumonia

  • Gastrointestinal tract infections: Salmonellosis (Enteritis), Fowl Typhoid, Fowl Cholera

  • Reduction of mortality: Particularly effective in complex infections where multiple pathogens are present.

  • Erythromycin (as Thiocyanate): A macrolide antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, effective against most Gram-positive bacteria. It is bacteriostatic at low concentrations and bactericidal at high concentrations.

  • Furaltadone (as Hydrochloride): A nitrofuran antibiotic that targets bacterial cell processes, primarily used for enteric and respiratory infections.

  • Tylosin (as Tartrate): Another macrolide antibiotic, effective against respiratory infections in poultry, such as CRD, and acts against Gram-positive bacteria.


Together, these ingredients offer synergistic action, ensuring effective treatment for a variety of infections.

Poultry:

  • Prevention:

    • 1 gm in 2 liters of drinking water for 3-5 days

    • In feed: 100 gm per 50 kg feed bag

  • Treatment:

    • 1 gm in 1 liter of drinking water for 3-5 days

    • In feed: 200 gm per 100 kg feed
