Lincomox-Plus
Lincomox-Plus is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial formulation combining amoxicillin, lincomycin, and spectinomycin to treat and prevent complex bacterial infections in poultry. It is especially effective against mycoplasma infections and secondary bacterial complications, making it a powerful choice for broilers and breeders.
Each 100 gm powder contains:
Amoxicillin Trihydrate – 20.000 gm
Lincomycin Base – 8.800 gm
Spectinomycin Base – 8.800 gm
Lincomox-Plus is indicated in poultry for:
Mycoplasma infections and CRD
Streptococcal and staphylococcal infections
Colibacillosis (E. coli)
Salmonellosis and pasteurellosis
Secondary bacterial infections during viral outbreaks
Amoxicillin inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to cell lysis. Lincomycin, a lincosamide, inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit. Spectinomycin, an aminocyclitol antibiotic, also disrupts protein synthesis but targets the 30S subunit, offering a synergistic action against a broad range of pathogens including Mycoplasma spp.
Poultry (Treatment):
1 gm in 2 liters of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Poultry (Prevention):
1 gm in 4 liters of drinking water for 3-5 days.
