Pen-C
Pen-C Injection is a broad-spectrum antibiotic designed to combat a wide range of bacterial infections in animals. It combines Amoxicillin, a potent aminopenicillin effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, with Cloxacillin, a penicillinase-resistant antibiotic that provides strong activity against beta-lactamase-producing staphylococci. This combination delivers a synergistic effect, making Pen-C especially effective in treating mixed infections and providing reliable therapeutic coverage.
Each mL contains:
Amoxicillin (as trihydrate) – 100 mg
Cloxacillin (as sodium) – 50 mg
Pen-C is effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It is recommended for the treatment of:
Mastitis caused by Staphylococcus spp., Staphylococcus agalactiae, Staphylococcus dysgalactiae, Corynebacterium pyogenes, and E. coli
Gastroenteritis
Respiratory tract infections
Urogenital tract infections, including metritis
Septicemia
Wound infections
Pen-C Injection combines two penicillin-type antibiotics: Amoxicillin and Cloxacillin.
Amoxicillin works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, effectively killing a broad range of bacteria.
Cloxacillin specifically targets bacteria that produce penicillinase, an enzyme that makes many bacteria resistant to common antibiotics.
Together, they deliver broad-spectrum and synergistic antibacterial action, including effectiveness against resistant strains.
Route: Intramuscular (IM) or Subcutaneous (SC) injection (Shake well before use)

30 mL per 300 kg body weight
Sheep, Goats:
5 mL per 50 kg body weight
Poultry:
0.1 mL per kg body weight
