Pri-Buquone
Pri-Buquone is an effective treatment for Theileriosis in cattle, sheep, and goats, caused by Theileria species such as T. Anulata, T. Parva, T. Mutans, and T. Orientalis (Sergenti). This potent solution targets both the schizont and piroplasma stages of the parasite, effectively controlling the disease during its incubation period or once symptoms appear.
Buparvaqoune (Manufacturer Specification) - 50mg
Recommended for the treatment of Theileriosis in cattle, specifically:
T. Anulata
T. Parva
T. Mutans
T. Orientalis (Sergenti)
It is effective against both the schizont and piroplasma stages of Theileria when used during the incubation period or at the appearance of clinical signs of active disease.
Buparvaquone works by disrupting the energy production in Theileria parasites. It targets the cytochrome bc1 complex in the mitochondria, which is essential for the parasite's energy. By blocking this process, the parasite’s energy runs out, leading to its death.
