Pri-Lincomac
Pri-Lincomac is a powerful broad-spectrum antibiotic blend formulated to combat respiratory and systemic infections in poultry. Combining the complementary actions of amoxicillin, lincomycin, and spectinomycin, it provides reliable control of bacterial and mycoplasmal infections, especially in broilers and breeders facing complex disease challenges.
Each 100 gm powder contains:
Amoxicillin Trihydrate – 10.000 gm
Lincomycin Base – 5.000 gm
Spectinomycin Base – 5.000 gm
Pri-Lincomac is indicated in poultry for:
Mycoplasma infections and CRD complex
Colibacillosis and salmonellosis
Mixed infections caused by Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, Pasteurella, and E. coli
Prevention and treatment of secondary bacterial infections during viral diseases and coccidiosis
Amoxicillin disrupts bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to cell lysis in both Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms. Lincomycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit, particularly effective against Mycoplasma and Gram-positive pathogens. Spectinomycin, an aminocyclitol antibiotic, binds to the 30S subunit, preventing bacterial protein translation. Together, they exert synergistic and broad-spectrum bactericidal effects.
Poultry (Treatment): 1 gm per 1 liter of drinking water for 3–5 days
