Pro-Mox

Pro-Mox is a broad-spectrum injectable antibiotic combining amoxicillin and gentamicin to deliver powerful, synergistic action against bacterial infections in poultry and livestock. It is especially effective in treating systemic and localized infections including pneumonia, enteritis, mastitis, and foot rot.

Each 1 ml contains:

  • Amoxicillin Trihydrate – 150 mg

  • Gentamicin Sulphate – 40 mg

Pro-Mox is indicated in:

  • Cattle, Buffalo, Sheep, Goats, and Poultry for the treatment of:

    • Pneumonia

    • Diarrhea and bacterial enteritis

    • Mastitis and metritis

    • Cutaneous abscesses

    • Pasteurellosis, colibacillosis, salmonellosis

    • Foot infections

Amoxicillin is a β-lactam antibiotic that interferes with bacterial cell wall synthesis, while gentamicin, an aminoglycoside, disrupts protein synthesis in susceptible bacteria. Together, they provide a potent bactericidal effect against a broad range of gram-positive and gram-negative pathogens.

Route: Deep intramuscular injection

  • Cattle, Buffalo, Sheep & Goats: 1 ml per 10 kg body weight, once daily

  • Poultry: 0.25 ml per kg body weight
