Wealmox-Plus
Wealmox-Plus is a broad-spectrum antibacterial and mucolytic formulation designed to effectively treat respiratory infections in poultry. It combines the power of amoxicillin, clavulanic acid, and bromhexine to target resistant pathogens while helping clear mucus from the respiratory tract for faster recovery.
Each 100 gm contains:
Amoxicillin as Amoxicillin Trihydrate – 16.000 gm
Clavulanic Acid as Potassium Clavulanate – 4.000 gm
Bromhexine Hydrochloride – 0.500 gm
Wealmox-Plus is indicated in poultry for:
Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD) and Complicated CRD (CCRD)
Bacterial arthritis and respiratory tract infections
Infections caused by β-lactamase producing bacteria
Pathogens including E. coli, Staphylococci, Streptococci, Haemophilus paragallinarum, Salmonella, Clostridium, Listeria, and Proteus spp.
Amoxicillin inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, while clavulanic acid prevents bacterial resistance by inactivating β-lactamase enzymes. Bromhexine acts as a mucolytic, breaking down and thinning mucus in the respiratory tract to improve airway clearance and antibiotic penetration.
Route: Oral (via drinking water)
